Well the hiatus is over and I have been able to get some time to work on videos again.
The following video shows what was included in the July 2018 website update.
Enjoy.

That is "a great presentation" Nathan .... in fact I like it sufficiently to suggest it's a concept we could possibly employ for future website updates too subject to time being in your favour to attend to such.

It will be a pleasure to keep ‘em coming. After all, it’s everyone else here who does the hard work, it’s the least I can do Cheers, Nathan

Impressive video!! Changing Western Pacific liveries in middle of flight is MASTERPIECE.
Three questions:
What city and airport did Sun Air 727 take off from?
What city or port were you flying over when changing Western Pacific liveries in middle of city?
Are you using special modified night lights for Vistaliners L1011?
Regards,
Aharon

Thanks everyone for your your kind words. Aharon in answer to your questions, firstly I made the video in FS9 this time so all sceneries where designed for this platform. The SunAir flyby was over Cape Town. The scenery I used was by Aeroworx and part of a series of free updates created for the whole of South Africa. You can get it from Avsim here I also used the NMG version of FACT Cape Town International Airport which is now free as well and available from here For Johannesburg I used the Aeroworx scenery for the airport as not only did it look better than the NMG Tradings one, but there was a rendering error in the NMG one that created all sorts of display problems. For the Western Pacific flyby, I used payware scenery that I have had for ever and truly love. I flew over Seattle using the FS9 version of the PC Aviator Megascenery Pacific Northwest. You can also get an FSX version, that has a much higher photo quality and is often on sale through Simmarket link About the lights on the L1011, I will have to check as I can’t remember if I am using the A2A Redux 3D lights or not. Hey Grizzly, I first record the scene using FS Recorder which is a free download and has custom cameras that you can program. I then playback the part of the scene that I like and setup the cameras. I then record with FRAPS and finally edit using Adobe Premiere Elements. This short video took 4 and a half days to produce (luckily I’m on leave at the moment ) not including downloading and installing all of the aircraft. I also make a plan of the video to help with setting the scenes and that way I can get any custom scenery that I may want to install. So I pretty much started the day after the update came out, although I did lose access to the PC over the weekend as my wife was playing Sims4 Thanks again for all of your comments and have fun simming. Cheers, Nathan

Nathan,
Thanks for well detailed answers. You must have so powerful pc system to have fancy payware ground textures.

Aharon

Thanks Nathan for the explanation. I admire your patience and determination. 4 days!!! I seem to remember somewhere a report that FSRecorder no longer works under W10 64.

I kept win 7 64bit on the flightsim PC as at the time there where a lot of problems with wi10 and fs9.
