Any chance of getting the TC-135S textures modified, to show the #3 and #4 engines black, just as on the real world aircraft? Even with the re-engining, the right wing AND both right-side engines were black, in keeping with the Cobra Ball tradition. Just a thought...thanks in advance either way! ;D

HMMM .... sounds like one for either Jay or Gary.
I'll let either of those guys respond accordingly .... since they're our C135 TYPE experts.

I'm all over it. The thing is that the only photos I found of the re-engined TC-135S were right after the conversion and I didn't know if the engines had since been painted over. If you have any pic's of the TC with the black F108's I'd love to have copies of 'em! ;D (I keep a photo archive of the aircraft I repaint and/or model). Anyways, I'm gonna do a massive upload to the server on sunday so the correction should be up pretty soon afterwards.
Happy Landings, Jay

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the TC...or any of the Cobra Ball airframes for that matter. They were a bit touchy about my photographing any of our assets...had to go out to the field at Mildenhall just for a chance at it. Even then, never could bag a Cobra Ball or its trainer. I do however, have a link to a rather decent photo that should no doubt help you out... www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5976524...the TC-135S will be painted up identical to this aircraft. Hope this helps! ;D

;D Thanks for that Jay. Truth be told, I'd have done the repaint myself...but I'm no good at it. Whereas YOU lot however, are phenomenal across the board with what you do. Therefore, my compliments to HJG for all you've done. The modelling and animations are superb, the paints are superb...just a superb overall experience. My exceptionally grateful thanks to HJG for all you do.

The TC-135 update looks SUPERB! Not to mention, I didn't even realize that the RC-135S series had been released...that'll teach me to pay closer attention. Well done Jay, on the TC-135 texture update...and thanks! ;D

The RAF operated aircraft, and possibly some the French Air Force examples could be interesting one's to consider in the future Ben .... however .... I think the aircraft of both these services are slightly different models than those we currently offer.
I'm not too sure !

Ben, call me old fashioned but I'm not using paint kits. I'm not even using an advanced editor. My setup includes DXTbmp and MS Paint. Thats all I use and each bird's done individually by hand. Be my guest at taking a crack at 'em but you're gonna have to do it the old fashioned way. Besides, I think Gary was the one who was working on getting some paintkits up in the staff forum. I'd hate to step on his toes mate.
Happy Landings, Jay
p.s. snowj, it was my pleasure. anything to get these birds as accurate as possible.
