A "B720-023" actually ! Hardly the most elegant looking of the many B707/720 theme variations aye ! Mark C AKL/NZ

It is a 720-023B. Look at the engines on the photo. They're fanjet-engines and not the older turbojet-engines. I think somebody requested this bird a while ago. I would like to see this bird with all this extensions, probes, etc. But for that wish somebody must build a new model-file for the 720B.
Cheers,
Klaus

"YEAH" .... I realise that, but, feeling absolutely exausted when I replied yesterday .... I just forgot to add the "B" suffix .... a minor detail really ! "YES" .... it has come up before .... as did another version too which tested a turboprop engine on the nose. Personally .... I don't think it's worth labouring over a new model for what will ultimately become a lone repaint .... which is also why we've never bothered altering our existing B707-320C to reflect the SAHA AIRWAYS configuration ((a casterated tanker). This particular B720-B might have uniqueness .... but .... it's hardly sufficiently historically important. I'd request Gary do a very rare B720-B/F freighter before I ever requisitioned the above subject. We can justify a B720-B/F model by getting at least get 2 or 3 rare repaints done for it ! SORRY !
