Hello ! First I'm new on this forum (but I've been flying your aircraft for a while). I'm french and logically... i love to fly french aircraft. I have your DC-8-72F indeed. So here are my request : - French Air Force C-135FR www.airliners.net/open.file/1100407/L/- French Air Force E-3F www.airliners.net/open.file/1078313/L/I know there are some model difference... but some of yours looks very close (especially the KC-135R) ;D Thank you for your great classics !

Bonjour .... et Ia orana oe "PENARATAHITI" "YES" .... the French Air Force KC135-FR aircraft do feature a slightly different configuration than any of the other USAF KC135-R aircraft. Personally I would prefer to wait until we have the correct model available before we paint it in French Air Force livery.... we do "TRY" to keep things as authentic as is possible here. It may be practical for us to "consider" painting an early KC135-F aircraft inthe old French Air Force livery .... because this aircraft is so very similar to the USAF KC135-A versions. I have a very good friend in France who paints aircraft for HJG. I will ask him about this one .... but .... I cannot say how quickly we might be able to offer it in the future. Mark C AKL/NZ

Iaorana !
I also fly UTA DC-8 which were classics in Tahiti... because I have lived there.
I know you try to keep accurate and realistic planes... and I appreciate that very much, and if you say there are C-135FR coming, sure I can wait !
Thank you very much for your answer, I'm happy to read French and Tahitian here !
Merci ! Maruru !
Julien

Ia orana/Bonjour Julien .... mon plaisir ! "NO PROMISES" about the models and repaints, but, we'll see what we can do. I know Tahiti well. I've spent quite a bit of time on both Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora .... and speak un petit peu Franciase et Tahitien I flew with UTA FRENCH AIRLINES (a truely great airline to fly with from my many personal experiences with them) .... mostly on DC10-30's. YES" .... the French Air Force KC135-FR aircraft do feature a slightly different configuration than any of the other USAF KC135-R aircraft. What are the differences.. I don't see them? Then again I am really tired too.. The E3F should be an easy one to do. Will be a while (six weeks or so, as I am in a school for my job, and have less than no time right now. Cheers, Gary

The KC-135F's primary differences initially were an early version of the MPRS and that the BDA (Boom-Drogue-Adapter) is permanently affixed to the boom. Otherwise, I think they're the same as a KC-135A.
Since then, they have modified the aircraft with F101s into KC-135FRs and they have de-modified the booms to be able to remove the BDA and use the boom for recepticle receivers.
