Good morning,
We were granted with repaint permission of the Douglas DC-8-50 when we founded our virtual airline in 2004. Now we are building a completely new site and I have improved the original repaint.
Following the rules, I need to give credits to all persons involved in this aircraft and I could not find which people worked in it.
I will be very grateful if someone can tell me who do I have to thank and for which part of the aircraft (project, model dessigner, FDE dessign, etc).
Thanks in advance,
Lluís

If you're using any HJG DC8 models then credit for these must be acknowledgrf to "Dee WALDRON". If your using the current HJG DC8 model FDE (that's the current as version uploaded much earlier this year) then credit for these must be acknowledged to "George CARTY & Michael VERLIN". DC8 panel credits are acknowledged on our "DOUGLAS PANELS" page .... and are as listed .... as you may be aware we do not alow these to be uploaded to any other site, but, you are welcome to link back to the HJG "Home Page" (not the actual panel pages as these may change) for you members to download them DC8 sounds are products by "AEROMUSICA" ....that's Benoit PLAMONDON & myself .... along with a few others whom are acnowledged within documentation accompanying these downloads. Again we don't allow these sound versions to be uploaded elsewhere, but, you'e welcome to link you members bact to the HJG "Home Page". DC8 effects are by George CARTY, and Marco BALZAROTTI. There are 2 lots of smoke effects for our DC8's each by the above authors .... the same demands apply as indicated above regarding linking. I think that pretty much covers thing really ! Thanks for taking the time to check/ask .... we appreciate that ! Mark C BOG/CO

Hi all,
Thanks for the information.
We already have a link to the website of HJG to download the base package and complementary files. The download area clearly states that the original package belongs to HJG (including the link) and only Catalonian textures can be downloaded from our site.
As likely other people is repainting your great aircraft and the conditions require to include the proper credits, I would suggest to add a section in your site where to find all those data to add it to the "readme" file.
As I would also like to include you (Mark C) in the acknowledgement section, please let me know your full name to do it properly.
Thanks again,
Lluís

It's actually a very rare request .... that information you've asked fo We try to keep our workload to a minimum, so, we probaly won't make those detail more broadly obvious that they already are ... but ... not to worry ! FYI .... "Mark C, BOG/CO & AKL/NZ" = "MARK CRANSTON, Auckland New Zealand, & Bogota Republica de Colombia"Thanks again ! Mark C BOG/CO & AKL/NZ
