A long time ago I asked Tony if he could do me a private paint.
Based at EKCH, an old DC-8-33 registered LN-PIP has been used fore fire drills for God knows how many years.
The story would tell that it only flew once or twice in the livery it is wearing today, as a freighter carrying live chicken to Norway.
The Danish word for the birds "sound" is "PIP" hence the comedy in the registration.
Well I've lost the paint a few times, but every time Tony has saved it for me, and lastly this other night. I've now promised to save at secure place.
This is livery might not be for the broad audience, but is has a special place in my heart. So thanks Tony for saving my Christmas (again)
This is a link to a picture of LN-PIP (I think a bit more recent than the pictures I gave you to work with Tony):

I will be off-line during the holidays, so it might take a while before we "see" each other again.
Mean while I also might take the old "hen" out for a flight now she's got some new gauges ;-)
Just found another nice series of shots here:

Ha, ha.... almost forgotten all about this one....Used as AI in FS9:

Well, with Mark's talent for storytelling and ability to dig out all kind of facts from here and there, we might get a bit more information of this particular aircraft.
For starters it is supposed to be cn.: 45256/40.
Have a nice Christmas and a happy new year.
