I see you're a new HJG forum registration as of today "BLUEAIRCRAFT", so, you may not be fully aware of what we/HJG actually offer in regard to support for each of the DMFS simulations.
A point I want to make in regard to manuals for these simulations is as follows ....
Last year we discovered "some of" (not all of) the DMFS data available per the WAY BACK MACHINE was actually "incomplete". This became evident when comparing the data I downloaded and/or C&P'd from the DMFS site during 2019 with that currently accessible per the WBC. I've previously made reference to this fact a few times here both internally and publicly.
For this reason when we imported the DMFS products to HJG
(these remain the property of DM though) I began compiling our own versions of manuals for each of the DMFS simulations, but, only those for the TRIDENT, VC10, and VC10/C1K have so far/to date been completed and are available "HERE" as follows ....
HS TRIDENTtonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/9975/hs121-trident-manualVC10tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/9976/vc10-manualVC10/C1Ktonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/9977/vc10-c1k-manualAgain our forum based manuals for each of the 3 above-linked DMFS simulations are
"COMPLETE".However our forum based manuals for each the following 2 DMFS simulations are
"yet to be completed" .... by me .... "as both time and personal circumstances permit" ....
BAC ONE-ELEVEN 200/300/400/475/500/510ED ("SECTIONS 1 to 4" only currently available)
tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/9973/bac-eleven-manualCOMET III/IIIB/IV/IVB/IVC ("SECTIONS 1 to 4" only currently available)
tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/9974/dh106-comet-manual"SECTIONS 1, 2, 3, 4" of manuals for each of the 2 above-linked and DMFS simulations are
"COMPLETE" also .... again in accordance with the last version DMFS compiled data (I did this purposely in order to maintain as much fidelity with the original DMFS data as possible), but, "SECTIONS 5 and 6" of these same manuals have yet to be completed and added .... by me.
I particularly want to stress that "SECTIONS 2 and 3" of all of these HJG forum based manuals have been compiled "almost totally in accordance with the original DMFS manuals/data" (last versions) .... albeit this data, as presented "HERE", is in a PROBOARDS/HJG forum type format for reasons of both "convenience" and "uniformity" in regard to "the manner in which HJG presents this sort of technical referencing".
SECTIONS 1, 5, and 6 of these manuals are also based on the original DMFS data but have, by necessity, been edited to .... (a) better/more thoroughly present/explain each DMFS simulation .... (b) account for the fixes we/HJG have applied to each of the DMFS panels .... and (c) better educate end users to how best fly and enjoy these simulations.
No time frame, as yet, in regard to when "SECTIONS 5 and 6" of the BAC ONE-ELEVEN and COMET manuals (only) will be added .... since preparing this data is quite a lengthy/tiring albeit necessary undertaking. As DM compiled some these simulations differently (weight-wise and engine thrust-wise etc) some of them fly differently .... as should be the case .... and as a result each needs to be "properly/individually analysed" before final and reliable referencing can be compiled and presented.
FYI also "BLUEAIRCRAFT"
That particular fidelity (engine burn-up and failure due to prolonged use of excessively high power settings) "IS" applicable to the DMFS BAC ONE-ELEVEN panels, but AFAIK, doesn't apply to the either the DMFS COMET, TRIDENT, and VC10 panels. The COMET panel/simulation/s represent turbojets .... so .... you'll be using/maintaining "near" maximum power throughout TO, climb, and cruise flight regimes. According to notes I've so far compiled .... at MGW I've recorded MAX POWER for TO, then, reducing to around RPM 7450 after TO and clean-up .... for the COMET IV only. The rest do each differ slightly.
Just to remind everyone also ....
We/HJG (George CARTY actually) fixed all of the known the faults associated with the DMFS released COMET, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, TRIDENT, and VC10 panels .... as well as also making each of these simulations more FSX portable too and whilst not impacting either their original look or functionality.
