And as both ARJ´s and BAe´s come´n´go .... they don´t get any shorter (this´s our new little baby .... the shortest menmber of the ARJ/BAe family) than what´s depicted above This particular model (the BAe 146-100/RJ-70) .... and its middle-size brother/sister also (the BAe 146-200/RJ-85) .... have both been "WILLED" into existence for HJG by our very own Paul HAAK .... and among which a few surprises will also be featured once thse are released. Great to hear that the BAe/ARJ-family will be 'reunited' here at the HJG-webpage. That are fantastic news for 2017 (I hope my patience will be last until the release!).

Nice!!!!!!!
Awesome to see original Flybe livery.
I did not know Jersey European (original Flybe) operated two different versions of BAE146 jets.

Aharon

They operated the 100/200 and 300 variants in Jersey European colours then the slightly changed British European colours before Flybe was the new name.

In regard to our .... now quite rapidly accelerating .... ARJ/BAe project developments (this is both an upgrade and an expansion) .... this´s just a further quick preview of some what´s slooted for release in the very near future This project finally see´s us able to fulfill our original plans of around 2007 .... to introdue the BAe 146-100 (the shortest members of the family) .... as well as the BAe 146-200 also .... and which will also result in upgraded BAe 146-300 models too. It´s been a long delay, but, the reasons for that delay have been "purely technical" .... and beyond the control of HJG. What we´ll shortly release are all brand new/2016 produced 3D models .... not releases/re-releases of old/earlier compilations. The fact we´re now able to do this is "THANKS ENTIRTELY" to Jon MURCHISON .... whom kindly provided his original source code for us to work with .... and Paul HAAK whom (like a dog with a meaty bone) has been determined to resolve the original compilation issues that Jon encomntered .... to the extent that hes´not only able to produduce newer BAe 146-200/RJ-85 models, but, has also been able to successfully produce "BRAND NEW" BAe 146-100/RJ-70 models too .... AND AS IF NOT CoNTENT WITH THESE ADVANCES .... Paul´s also been able to successfully expand the theme covering this particular aircraft family to include a number of specifically configured aircraft sub-marques too and which may become "a first" among representation/s of these aircraft in FS. I may preview some of these other aircraft varients .... later .... or .... I might decide to be "a complete prick" and not reveal anything until they´re finally released .... we´ll see what happens The BAe 146-100 will also be offered in RJ-70 form .... with the appropriate physical differences between each as follows .... BAe 146-100BAe 146-100QTRJ-70The BAe 146-200 will similarly also be offered in RJ-85 form .... again with the appropriate physical differences between each as follows .... BAe 146-200BAe 146-200QTRJ-85The cargo doors on each of the pure freighter configured aicraft models will animate/open .... to reveal a belly full of containers .... although some of the other new aircraft model configurations among this family will feature a belly full of palletised or small freight consignments instead. The gear bays in each of these new models have been redeveloped/re-textured with better/superior data .... although some of the above images, made prior to these model/texture advances having been incorporated, may still show the old/original gear bay detailing .... but .... which makes for reasonble comparisons between old and new data anyway. As may also be evidenced .... per the above imagery .... we have finally resolved the old/original problem where both the rear fuselage air brake doors, as well as the wing spoilers too, would deploy inflight and in rsponse to either being selected. Thanks to Paul HAAK, and MIke MONCE, and to some very specific coding .... the rear fuselage air brake doors (only) will now deploy inflight (using our ML panel/s these can be deployed in increments), but, the wing spoilers won´t now deploy until ground contact is made. Each of the advances and expansions discussed above will also be incorported into new BAe 146-300/RJ-100 specific models too .... and which will be previewed in due course. Mark C BOG/CO

Great looking BAe Whisperjet-family (you can replace the word 'whisperjet' with the word 'Jumbolino' if you want). I know those birds aren't released yet, but is it possible to use older repaints with those very nice looking HJG-additions?
Judging from those screenies, you guys are doing a terrific job introducing a new 'family' to the HJG-'hotel'!!

Judging from those screenies, you guys are doing a terrific job introducing a new 'family' to the HJG-'hotel'!! Klaus Hi Klaus. Tony had already painted a lot of 200 and RJ85's when I was asked to attempt the 100 / RJ70 model. The 100 mas made from Jon's original 300 (not the hosted one), so the texture mapping was kept the same as the 200 to make Tony's life easier. I did so many changes to the model, that the 200 was then made from the 100 This was mapped to Tony's textures, so basically, yes, you can use existing textures sets as long as you add the new texture needed for additions / changes made to this model. I think Mark tried it and it and it did work Happy new year. Paul

Thanks Paul for the reply and the great work on those classic (time flies, doesn't it) British Jetliner(s).
Klaus
PS: I wish everyone here at HJG a very happy new year 2017!

Quick question: Which of the military liveries of BAE 146 jets shown above in previous preview screenshots saw combat action in Afghanistan as missions using infrared countermeasures systems and flare dispensers?
Thanks,
Aharon

Quick question: Which of the military liveries of BAE 146 jets shown above in previous preview screenshots saw combat action in Afghanistan as missions using infrared countermeasures systems and flare dispensers? Thanks, Aharon The CC3,s (no flares, just ECMs), ZE707 and ZE708 spent a lot of time in Afghanistan. In fact, ZE707 was badly damaged in Afghanistan less the 24th Feb 2013 due to a huge hail storm. It was only delivered earlier that month. ZE700 and 701 also visited Afghanistan, but they are pure VIP, where ZE707, and 707 are combi 200QC's, two of the five 200Qc's built. Paul

Thanks for reply, Tristar. I see HJG already painted ZE707. That is cool!

Aharon
