I have just installed the Mercure into the game on FSX, and I am having a little trouble with it at the moment. The elevator, rudder and ailerons keep re-centering themselves whenever any input is put into it, causing the virtual yoke in the plane to have a flickering effect where its going from the position my physical joystick wants it to be, and the center position of each of the control. Another observation I made is that the sensitivity seems to be fairly high, where very light movements moves the virtual yoke more than it would on other aircraft, eventually moving far enough that it seems to stop registering the input and just resets the control to the center again. This makes in impossible to fly the plane as it will not lift the nose up, yaw, or roll the plane. However, the throttle works just fine, I can throttle up and get the plane moving, though I cannot lift the plane at all, I can not turn on the runway, and I even tried spawning in the air at Friday Harbour and only got limited control, only enough to delay crashing into the ground by a couple of seconds.
I know it is not a problem with my joystick as I had tried loading another plane and testing with that, and it works normally there, but when I reload the Mercure it has this problem. I have made sure I am using the correct installation of the mod, it is the FSX version, though I am unsure if being on the steam version of FSX might be an issue, so I will mention it here just so that information is available. I also looked through the manual to see if I have missed anything though I don't think I have, please correct me if I am wrong.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of any such issue with the MERCURE .... or with any of the other simulations we offer for that matter either (that I immediately recall). There's no known issues associated with this simulation since we first introduced it during December 2017 My first thought was .... Are you sure you're using the FSX version of the MERCURE in FSX. My next thought was in relation to the integrity of your controller devices and their settings/calibrations. I note you say you've checked the above .... but .... I suggest you recheck everything anyway. Below are 2 videos of this MERCURE simulation .... both "in FSX" and which are sufficient to confirm the simulation is fine .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/8801/dassault-mercure-101I don't believe there's any issues associated with the this simulation in respect of FSX version .... or even the FS2004 version either Have you attempted to alter/edit or replace anything at all associated with this MERCURE simulation ? If so .... then please advise precisely what and where. By virtue of the fact what you're experiencing has never, ever, been previously experienced/reported I can't offer any further advice .... other than to once gain suggestg you review your controller device settings/calibrations .... particularly in regard to any profile you might have set up for this simulation if you've done such at all. Hello,
This looks like you did not set up the hydraulic system up. Look at the aircraft from outside. If ailerons and elevators are drooped then you have no hydraulic pressure. After starting the engines, turn the pumps on in the hydraulic panel. Do not operate any guarded switch in the hyd panel. These are emergency cut-off. The green "CL" light must remain off. Check the pressure gauges.
Hopefully this gets you going!

Thank you very much guys. Yeah I forgot to turn on the hydraulics so that's on me, works perfectly now. Much appreciated for the help!

Thank you Mario .... and glad you now appear to be sorted "VIKINGWALRUS" I've been using this simulation for so long I actually overlooked the consequences of not configuring the Hydraulics system and which are "unique to this simulation" and not applicable to others This's a "COMPLEX" but at the same time "SUPERB" simulation. It's intended more for advanced FS users, but, isn't at all difficult to learn and master. Proper flight planning is "absolutely essential" though in order to ensure both good performance and a decent range, but remember also, the MERCURE (unlike the B737-100/-200 .... it's nearest counterpart for it's time) was an aircraft somewhat range restricted (900 to 1000 miles only) and as such was used primarily as a city-hopper across Europe rather than servicing longer-ranging routes between some European countries and to the UK. This limitation was one of the reasons for its commercial failure .... albeit that it was "a very advanced" and otherwise superb aircraft .... again for its time. The "Basic Flying Guide" within Our forum based manual offers 4 separate "payload/fuel related configurations" resulting in various range capabilities .... see "SECTION 5.0" of this manual. For those "NEW" to this simulation there's an "AUTO-START/PANEL AUTO-CONFIGURATION" option designed into this panel and which (as its name suggests) sets all systems "automatically" (and is what I've mostly been using myself despite reasonable familiarity with the manual procedure/s) .... therefore bypassing the complexities of manually configuring each of the represented panel systems. It's recommended this option be used "to gain familiarity with the simulation/panel and for starters" .... then once familiar and confident with the simulation/panel transition to the Cold And Dark Scenario which requires all items to be "manually configured". To aid using the Cold And Dark scenario .... there's an "INTERACTIVE MANUAL" built into this panel (separate and different from our forum based manual) and which features all of the necessary checklist items that need to be actioned in order to correctly configure all panel systems .... starting the APU, and engines, etc. This manual is accessed from the panel itself and can be referred to throughout any phase of one's flying session whilst using this simulation. What Mario's presented here is a great little feature and which helps "A LOT". The "AUTO-START/PANEL AUTO-CONFIGURATION" option is accessed per the panel selection icons .... See "SECTION 2.03" of the from based manual for precise information in regard to the locality and functions of these panel selection icons. The "INTERACTIVE MANUAL" is accessed per "SHIFT+6" keyboard commands .... Mark C AKL/NZ
