I just installed the Hawker-Siddley HS121 Trident 3 and Super VC-10 1151, as well as the EFFECTS, PANELS + corefiles and SOUNDS files. I followed the installation instruction as specified in the readme and completed the following steps (among others): - Installed the main aircraft files in FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\*, e.g. FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\HS121 Trident 3
- Installed the shared files in FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\DMFS Shared Files\*, e.g. FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\DMFS Shared Files\HS121 Trident Sound
- Moved the FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\DMFS Shared Files\HS121 Trident Panel\Replacement files For FSX Panel to FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\DMFS Shared Files\HS121 Trident Panel (for each plane receptively)
Sounds work as intended, but no textures are displayed (completely white 3D model for the Trident, black and gray for the VC10). I check the FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\HS121 Trident 3E\aircraft.cfg file and the [fltsim.XX] entries (e.g. [fltsim.0] with texture=BEA) and it looks all correct, texture files are for example all available under FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\HS121 Trident 3\texture.BA (British Airways TRI3FUSE_1.bmp, etc.). Any idea what the issue could be? Thanks for any help in advance!

I assume the TRIDENT 3 and VC10-1151 files you're installing are those base packs containing bulk packages of textures for each .... please confirm this. Have you attempted to rename any of the Texture folders ? Such shouldn't be necessary as in the case of each base pack supported by bulk textures (the original DMFS data unedited by us) the textures are all known to work fine ! Check that TEXTURE= data line in the AIRCRAFT.CFG/FLTSIM.XX data for the liveries you're stalling each read "precisely in accordance with the actual Texture folder name/s". I've heard of single liveries not displaying, but, never a all of them .... if that's what you're trying to communicate (?) Unless there's an "FSX related display setting" that needs to be activated in your case (I'm less familiar with the inner workings of FSX) .... or .... Unless you've edited the Texture folder names and these don't now agree with what's stated within the FLTSIM.XX TEXTURE= data for each texture (THIS IS A MOST COMMON ERROR: Any such error in regard to Texture folder names not agreeing with the TEXTURE= data line within their supporting FLTSIM.XX entries "WILL" absolutely ensure FS models "DO NOT" display textures despite the installed livery options each appearing within the FS Aircraft Selection Menu) .... or .... Unless you've got a corrupted download (such is rare but can happen) .... then either one of the above scenarios could apply. Mark C AKL/NZ

Thanks for the quick response Mark.
Positive, I've downloaded the base packs with the included liveries. I haven't tried to download or install any additional liveries.
Negative, I left everything unchanged except necessary for installation as described in the readme (and mentioned in my initial post).
Correct, regardless of the livery I select, no textures are displayed on the model. I'll double-check the [fltsim.XX] texture= in the aircraft.cfg folder again to be sure, but it seemed to be all correct when I checked it the first time.
Good point, I'll see if modifying the graphic settings in FS X resolves the issue.
Thanks again for the support!

It could be an FSX related display setting (I'll need help myself in regard to that given I don't use FSX) since I have heard such can apply .... and more-so maybe if if your certain the other possibilities don't apply. Other than that there's no known issues/traps with any of the DMFS bulk texture base packs. Keep us advised .... and if I can't pin-point the cause of your experience I'm sure someone else will Mark C AKL/NZ

Hi Patrick, welcome to the forum.
Trying to replicate your problem, I downloaded and installed the Trident 3, panel and FSX sounds as per all the instructions included with them into FSX-SE and had no problems, all the repaints shoe fine. 🤷🏻♂️
Can I ask a couple of questions, when you load up FSX, do you load the trike first allowing the Sim to settle before loading the Trident? FSX doesn’t like starting with a complex aircraft straight up and should have a default one load first. Also, as Mark has mentioned, ensure that you are not using DX-10 preview in the settings.
Did you add any other repaints, or are you only using the ones included with the base package? Did you update the engine data as per install instructions and the effects section?
Cheers, Nathan

Thanks again for the help. Issue resolved, I had the "Preview DirectX 10" option active in the "Settings" -> "Customize ..." options menu:
After deactivating the option the textures for both the Trident and VC10 are shown correctly.
