Seeing as how Delta is getting Airtran's B717s, hows about a repaint, minus reg. number? I'm looking forward to seeing the widget on the B717, something which should have been done from the inception of the aircraft. Perhaps registration N717JL can be used, since I believe this aircraft to be leased currently by AirTran, not owned, and thus does not have an AT reg.   |

N717JL was named for Air Tran's CEO Joel Leonard.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know who or how to contact someone at Delta with a livery suggestion?
Some friends and I think it would be really cool,if they painted their 717s up in "Heritage" schemes of all the former DC-9 operators who are now a part of Delta.
New just need to know where to send the suggestion.

No surprise considering the acid trip paint scheme a few years back and the other hodge-podge garbage since.
If they want to really save face, bring the widget back in all her glory on the tail and get rid of the refugee from the thanksgiving condiment tray they have there now.
