Both pictures are taken with different cameras, lenses and no doubt different times of day and weather conditions. I doubt very much that this is how it is, more like a work in progress towards the later tail with emblem on etc. you can fanny about all day with this but it's a pointless exercise in my view, likewise and I may upset someone here, but can you make the tyres side wall texture s darker, I had to laugh at that one, Alex are you having a laugh  this is the most weird set of requests I have ever seen. Guys pull it in now and finish up please my kidneys are popping at this thread, god help us when you get round to that DC8 Rafael  |

I thought that request was a bit over the edge as well but what can you do, you can't please everybody! I just got done painting the thing. I will hand it over to you guys "as is" I spent a lot of time on this, had to re-create some textures from scratch as well as other things. What was supposed to be simple turned out to be more than what I bargained for!  Here is a preview of the finished bird...   On to the next, now 2 remaining :3 |

"IF" ever one thinks any particular request is "over the edge" .... then the SOP which applies should always be to simply "NOT ENTERtAIN THAT PARTICULAR REQUEST" .... either privately or publicly .... because, in the case of the latter, "SHOULD" things ever get out of hand, then, it can all start to look quite silly/rediculous and it also risks having a detrimental affect of this group/forum generally .... and which is something that we, whom work hard to try and uphold the quality of everything here, need about as much as a hole in the head .... Yes email it to me Rafael and I will send it to the uploads, not sure when the next one will go up as I have been unable to paint for a couple of weeks so we havnt got many in the uploads just yet.

It's not my departure from HJG that I was referring to .... but rather .... my departure from "HERE"/New Zealand. I'm going back to Bogota/Colombia for another wee while  .... and then taking on Tucson/Arizona (Pima Air Museum), Grand Canyon (for the 2nd time), and Los Angeles (Chino Air Museum, USS IOWA .... for the 2nd time also along with both the QUEEN MARY, and the Russian SCORPION CLASS submarine) .... all going well Mark C AKL/NZ then taking on Tucson/Arizona (Pima Air Museum), Hey Mark Pima is a very good museum, Hope you dont melt in that Tucson Heat though, they do have some air conditioned exhibits but a lot of it is sun drenched. I went there in 1996 most probably might have been upgraded by now. It was dehydrating hot the day I went. |
