Here is an aircraft that deserves a bit of attention. It looks good and flies and handles pretty good too. Enroute from Quebec City to Goose Bay Labrador. Reducing speed with speed brake deployed. Not too common on commercial airliners to have speed brake at the tail. On short final to RW26 at Goose Bay. Herman

What a "NICE LITTLE FOKKER" .... Herman Is it the PROJECT FOKKER" release ? Benoit and I made a soundpack for that .... a few years ago .... but .... I think the release we worked on together was actually intended for a South American VA which based their operations on the PJF simulation. Mark C BOG/CO

I've had the PF F-100 for a couple of years now in AAL, Midway, and USA liveries. Great early RJ. Of course I did some mods on the FDE It is a fun break from the big iron. Mike

Yes Project Fokker did a great job on this and the F70 and later the F28 all superb models with good panels. I think they look great and are a pleasure to fly in the sim. I was lucky enough to get a jump seat on a F100 into BHX from Jersey with British Midland some years back. I enjoyed it and had a great view from the front

Yes Mark. All the various Fokker F models are from Project Fokker. The come with sound files which seem quite good, but I don't know who the producers were.
Aharon.....nice smooth landing at LAX.

I´m pretty sure the soundpack Benoit ansd i worked on together "isn´t" the one supplied by PROJECT FOKKER .... and wghich predates our production by some margin. I´m certain our soundpack for the PROJECT FOKKER simulation was produced for an Argentinian or Uruguayan (or somewhere around that region) VA. Benoit might recall the precise facts. I´ve been wanting to do a bit of "FOKKER-ING" around with that particular FOKKER simulation for quite a while now, but, a constant/steady stream of differenbt development projects going on behind the scenes here/at HJG (4 of which I´m currently involved with) constantly deny me the chance to do so .... unfortunately I did, however, recently get a chance to "FOKKER-AROUND" .... a bit .... with the latest F27 simulation was released by Tom GIBSON, just last month, and which reprsents "quite an improvement" over the original release .... and which I more-or-less managed to successfully merge (per various FDE edits) in order get to work quite nicely with Fraser McKAY´s great F27/FH227 panel/s .... as per my last posting on this following thread .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/7181/ansett-nac-fokker-27s?page=2Mark C BOG/CO

The official PROJECT FOKKER website "might" be gone .... BUT .... the simulations appear to still be available at FLY AWAY SIMULATIONS as follows .... flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/15255/project-fokker-70-100-v2/I can´t vouch for how this this version (V2) of it is .... BUT .... "there it is" .... per the above link There are, apparently, quite a number of texturs for the PROJECT FOKKER aircraft at both FLIGHTSIM and AVSIM .... but .... any number of these are probably also for the original model version which, although they´ll continue work on the V2 models too, will also alapparently show a texture discrepency as per the following alert in the FLY AWAY SIMULATIONS/PROJECT FOKKER page .... Thanks, Mark
I have Fokker 100-650 Tray version 2 and it works well. Just wanted to see if there are any more cool liveries not realizing that Fokker website is gone.

Aharon

And one thing I forgot. I have been searching for excellent Canadian North repaint with Polar Bear for Project Fokker 100-650 Tray. So far none. There is one on Internet but it is badly fuzzy.

I have just taken my F100 for a quick flight for the first time in a year (just re-installed it) and was reminded as to what a good package it is! It flies really nicely. I've just checked on AVSIM and it is still available there as well as the update. The files are: pf10070v2.zip (full package with many liveries) and rcbpf-30.zip (with improvements and additions). There is also a panel update (fokker_242319.zip) by Behnam Zamani with a new bitmap which incororates part of the overhead in the main panel bitmap, which is very handy, and some wing views. Behnam Zamani has updated another "more realistic" panel with additional features (fokker_100_real_panel.zip).
With the Project Fokker website gone, is it perhaps an idea for HJG to host this model (and the Fokker 28)?
With best wishes,
Albert

"NICE IDEA" .... except for 2 things .... 1. I don´t believe HJG could do that without contravening whatever arrangement/s exists between the original PROJECT FOKKER group and either FLY AWAY SIMULATIONS and/or AVSIM. There´s no point in HJG taken it on whilst it´s already available somewhere else (it´s be a bit like us/HJG hosting DMFS or TGCC products whilst they´re already hosted elsewhere) .... unless that other hosting service, and by implication the project/simulation, was for any reason under threat .... THEN .... there could be room to talk/negotiate. 2. I, personally, would be hard-presse to deal with it given the number of projects I already have on hand at the moment .... whilst still trying to attend to real world life as well Mark C BOG/CO

I understand Mark, especially with regard to the very large HGJ inventory! I however didn't realise that Fly Away Simulations was actually "hosting" Project Fokker. Do they offer more than just the downloads, i.e. service as well?

Not really sure "TOKOLOSH" .... but .... I think it´s the same product .... or part of it at least .... "V2" is my understanding.
Have a look at the link posted by me above.
