I am having a problem getting the new versions of the 300 and 500 WL's to show up in FS2004. Never had this issue before except with the updated 727's. I downloaded the bases and then added the texture files and updated the aircraft CG file. i added my own panels and sounds file as I have done with all the HJG down loads , but they are not showing up in FS2004. I tried putting Version 1.0 back in with a Southwest winglet taxture and updated the aircraft CG. file. the 300 would display in FS2004 and the non winglet wesrion would come up but the winglet version would display but with black screen. My point is version 2 is not displaying at all and will at least show the winglet description but with black screen in version 1
What do I need to do.

You need to be sure you're using the latest base pack version numbers as follows and not the original recently made redundant files .... B737-300 Aircraft base Pack V1.2 B737-300C (QC/SF) Aircraft base Pack V1.2 B737-300WL Aircraft base Pack V1.0 B737-400 Aircraft base Pack V1.2 B737-400C (QC/SF) Aircraft base Pack V1.2 B737-400 COMBI Aircraft base Pack V1.2 B737-500 Aircraft base Pack V1.2 B737-500WL Aircraft base Pack V1.0 These latest base packs contain the addition and new models .... and oly the W: aircraft type base pack have WL model versions. My point is version 2 is not displaying at all The WL base packs are each V1.0 (because they're debut releases), but, there's no V2 of anything among our B737's. You need to be sure you're using the 300WL textures with the 300WL base pack only .... and the same accordingly in regard to the 500WL textures and 500WL base pack only also. The MODEL= data lines within the FLTSIM.xx data for each WL aircraft texture should automatically link each texture to the correct/stated model included inside each of these base packs. Don't put textures for WL models into either of the V1.2 B737-300 and -500 base packs and start modifying anything CFG related there .... the V1.1 base packs are standardard non WL featured aircraft only and do not have WL models. Seems, to me, you've made a simple CFG editing error which is preventing everything from displaying .... or displaying correctly .... BUT .... to determine this I need you to post a copy & paste of just the FLTSIM.XX section of your AIRCRAFT.CFG .... not the entire CFG please .... just the FLTSIM.XX sections of it only (but also include the header details at the tip of the CFG) .... so I can then see what you've got, and have done, in order to be able to try'b resolve this for you. BELAY THAT LAST REQUEST OF MINE I found the problem .... and it's "MY FAULT" When packaging the SOUTHWEST AIRLINES B737-300WL texture .... I forgot to edit the FLTSIM.XX data MODEL= data line with the latest/correct model reference. The model reference currently within the FLTSIM.XX data MODEL= data line for this texture relates to the original developmental model version as it was named during pre-release flight testing .... but .... which changed for the release/ All you need to do is as follows .... 1. Make sure you're using the B737-300WL V1.0 aircraft base pack. 2. Add the SOUTHWEST AIRLINES B737-200WL texture to this recommended aircraft base pack. 3. Review the FLTSIM.XX data for this SOUtHWEST B737-300WL texture .... and pay attention to the MODEL= data line which currenly reads as follows .... model=300wl_no_brow.... change this data line to read "precisely as follows" .... and then save this edit .... model=733wl_no_browDo as recommended above and your SOUTHWEST B737-300WL texture will then be synchronized to the correct model version folder within the aircraft base pack .... and will display correctly. It was the mismatched model referencing that will have caused your problem. I've now checked each of the other B737-300WL subjects and their texture/model referencing is correct .... but ... in the case of the UKRAINE INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES B737-500WL (only) the "NG" reference in the FLTSIM.XX data PANEL= data line should be deleted so that line then reads simple as follows .... panel=Again .... the FLTSIM.XX data B7r7-5000WL subjects has been rechecked and all are OK. These are edits anyone/everyone can perform by hand to correct these minor discrepancies, but, we will replace the original texture ZIP files .... an action that will take some 24 hours to become active once these alterations are uploaded. Sorry about this Mark C AKL/NZ

An issue was reported last week with this particular texture.
The cause of the reported issue was an incorrect model assignment in the FLTSIM.XX MODEL= data line of the CFG .... as identified and commented per my 2nd posting above.
A replacement texture ZIP file should have been uploaded last week to correct this issue, so, try download the same texture file again .... but .... refresh your browser before attempting to do so.
PLEASE NOTE: An issue such as you're reporting can typically only occur if .... (1) an incorrect model assignment is present in the FLTSIM.XX PANEL = data line (as was the case in this particular case .... it can happen inadvertently) .... or (2) if the texture for a WL featured aircraft is assigned to a non-WL aircraft base pack.
PLEASE NOTE ALSO: The FDE for our WL featured aircraft is slightly different from that of our standard non-WL featured B733's and B735's .... having been compiled to take into account the aerodynamic effect of the WL's (slightly reduced drag with a corresponding fuel burn reduction). For this reason use WL aircraft subject textures with WL aircraft subject base packs only. Failure to do this will result in textures not appearing .... OR .... displaying on the wrong models (if incorrectly assigned/edited) .... OR .... the wrong aircraft type performance/s being experienced. Again .... use WL textures with all WL aircraft subject base packs only.

Just downloaded the SOUTHWEST B733WL texture. Its FLTSIM.XX MODEL= data line "is" correct .... as was reuploaded last Friday. The B737-300WL aircraft base pack contents "are" correct also .... these weren't implicated as part of last weeks texture report (above) Be sure to use the WL featured SOUTHWEST B737-300WL texture with the "B737-300WL" aircraft base pack only .... or this texture won't be synchronized with the correct model. If it worked correctly once (following the fix having been applied last week) .... then it can't not work correctly later .... unless you've reconfigured your aircraft base packs and textures and in doing so reassigned the this particular texture to the wrong model. The WL's are part of the corresponding models. Assign a wrong model/a non-WL featured model to any WL texture and you won't see the WL's. Aircraft type WL textures must be used with their corresponding aircraft type base packs and models only. Each aircraft base pack is specific to the configuration of each aircraft type .... don't mix/combine the contents of aircraft type base packs or one will also then robbing oneself of the intended aircraft performances and particularly in regard to the WL featured aircraft subjects. Use the correct textures with the correct aircraft base packs as stipulated within our forum based B737-300/400/500 manual .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/8798/b737-300-installation-handling-notesSee SECTION 1.15/"HJG B737-300/400/500 TEXTURE FILES".Mark C AKL/NZ
