Personally .... I'd love to see both SKYMASTER DC8 & B707 repaints added to the HJG inventory .... in fact these have been requested a number of times previously. It just depends on whether or not they appeal to any of our painters .... and "IF SO" .... when they have time to address these subjects. FYI .... Nelson MURAD did textures for the SKYMASTER B70997-320C. These are available on FLIGHTSIM.COM .... search "NELSON MURAD" or just "MURAD" under "FS2004" .... if anyone's interested ! These SKYMASTER textures were made for our V5 B707-320C model and of course we're up to "VERSION 6" models now .... however .... they are perfectly adaptable to our V6 model and work fine ecause I use them myself. All they require for 100% compatibility is addition of BELLY_PAN textures. We'll see what we can do regarding the DC8's in the future, but, it may not happen quickly Mark C

Thank you for your reply !! Gives me some hope to see one in future ... i think the livery of Skymaster is not as easy to paint as it looks like..especially the " Skymaster " wording is difficult..it looks like handpaintet..also on their aircraft ,) I tried to do it by myself..but the HJG DC-8 fuselage is split into many parts ( F1,F2,F3 so on )..its hard to put " Skymaster " on it for a non profi painter like me

I just saw the pictures of it ..and it is PT-MTR..my baby I will never forget the sound of their JT3D motores on my flights from GRU to MAOand back to GRU ... ( 17 times !! ) I personally thank you very much ! Skymaster retired all 707 this year du to " unregularies " Only one DC-8-62 and one Dc-8-63 still flying ! Skymaster had 5 707 and 2 DC-8 operated in 2005 . It is a very famous airline in Sao Paulo and all people and flight crews lift their hat for the outstanding performance of the flight crews of the 707 and dc8 to fly araund every day in nearly 40 years old Aircraft with minimum functional equipment ( including the engines ) . Skymaster lost 1 707 during a hard landing in GRU some years ago. PT-MTR made a crash landing in 2005 in MAO . It never flew again and this was just a few weeks after my last flight with PT-MTR . On MAR 2008 i return to Sao Paulo and will fly again with their DC-8 . I sent a picture of your Paint to comandante L.Corpa I think he will like it ! Muito Obrigado Mr. Hartmann !

Emanuel .... I believe you'll find all those sounds faithfully reproduced in our P&W JT3D-3B and P&W JT3D-7 soundpacks for B707 (and seperate ones too for DC8) which are available from both "BOEING" and "DOUGLAS" sound pages of our "DOWNLOADS" page. Benoit PLAMONDON & myself put extra special effort into these ! Disfrutar por favor ! Mark C AKL/NZ & BOG/CO

Bom Dia HJG Crew I tried the sounds and i really like them !!! One question : When i advance the throttles to full FWD , i have the feeling the sound rises " in steps " ..not fluently..i also observed it when i do little corrections , for example during approach , and you change throttle only by minimum..than it sounds like it changes in small "steps" ..is it my soundcard or do i have do adjust something ?
